Monzer Mostafa Taleb, originally from Kuwait and a dedicated US citizen, has a profound connection to his Syrian heritage. Since 1980, he has made Dallas his home. After decades as a telecommunications engineer and computer programmer, he now enjoys a retirement devoted to his family and extensive community involvement.

Taleb completed his Bachelor of Computer Science in Computer Programming at the University of North Texas in 1988. His career began in 1992 when he became the system manager for a local company, a position he held until 1996. He transitioned to Ericsson Inc. as a lead switch test engineer, focusing on testing and troubleshooting MSC hardware and software until 2002. In 2003, he ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing his own computer and networking firm in Dallas, attracting a loyal customer base by providing specialized services.

In 2005, Monzer reentered the corporate world with T-Mobile in Las Vegas as an O&M switch supervisor, managing crucial operational tasks and system improvements. He later joined Ericsson again in 2007 in Plano, Texas, where he maintained communication equipment essential for maritime and isolated locations.

Besides his professional endeavors, Monzer is a distinguished motivational speaker and has earned numerous awards for his local and national contributions. His engagement with Baitulmaal, Inc., a nonprofit based in Irving, Texas, stands out as he significantly enhanced its global outreach and fundraising capacity to support its humanitarian missions.

On the home front, Monzer has been happily married to Bassiima Dandan for over 40 years, sharing four children and a fulfilling family life with many grandchildren. His devout faith motivates him to actively engage in community service, including establishing a youth center and volunteering at various community and religious events.
